Scotland won the toss and chose to bat first in their World Cup warm-up match against Ireland at Blacktown Olympic Park, Sydney.
Kyle Coetzer came out to lead Scotland as Preston Mommsen had a minor knee injury. Mommsen was expected to bat but not field.
While only 11 players on each side will bat and field, both squads were using the match to provide opportunities for 12 or 13 of their squads. The match does not have List A status.
