Michael Clarke will test his hamstring early in Australia’s warm-up match against the UAE at the MCG, after he chose to bat.
Clarke will open the batting with Aaron Finch and David Warner is not expected to bat, with James Faulkner also sitting out as he recovers from a side strain.
As it is not an official ODI, the teams can use all players in their squad at different times of the game.
